If you want to learn to surf in the Los Angeles area, then Campsurf is your best option. Campsurf conducts private and semi-private surf lessons in El Porto which is the northern most section of shoreline in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles County, CA. El Porto consistently has at minimum surfable sized waves. During the summer months the surf size is smaller than in the winter season. This smaller wave size is more suitable for beginner surfers. Our surf instructors are some of the most talented surfers in the Los Angeles area having grown up surfing here since childhood.
We focus on teaching wave knowledge and the fundamentals of surfing and our beginning students usually begin standing up on waves during the first session.
We also offer intermediate and advanced surf lessons for those students wishing to improve on their current surfing skills.
Learn to surf in Los Angeles from experienced surf instructors. 1-on-1 instruction or add a friend or two. Our Private Surf Lessons are available year round and open to all ages and abilities. Lessons include the use of a surfboard and wetsuit for each surfer. We offer a 1:4 instructor to student ratio so bring your friends! All private lessons are taught at our Rosecrans Avenue location in Los Angeles, CA.
